It was my first time using styrofoam spacers. 12 inch square, 10inch round, 6 inch spacer, 8 inch round, 4 inch spacer, 6 inch round. Vanilla pound cake with vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant with buttercream piping and fondant snowflakes. TFL

This was my first fondant loopy bow! It was way too delicate. I was using MMF, so I might have to try a bought fondant or mix with gumpaste next time for more stability. I loved this cake though! TFL

I had no luck getting the same color red for the icing, so I re-thought the design, and this is what I came up with. It's my first 5 tier cake. 12,10,9,8,6, red velvet with cream cheese icing. TFL!
This cake gave me fits! That's what I get for thinking it would be simple! It was my first time piping a Monogram in script. The fondant was giving me trouble, and I had to re-bake the cake. At least the customer liked it. That's the main thing! It is Strawberry cake with cream cheese icing. TFL

I made this for my cousin's wife who was in charge of a dinner for a convention of an association for postmasters. It was held in Pine Mountain, so I painted the mountain and pine trees. I also painted the flag draped over the eagle. The eagle is RKT. Got many ideas from many on CC. Thanks to all!
This was my first guitar cake. I had my husband measure everything on his guitar to try to get as much as possible to scale. The neck was all gumpaste, and because I had black, I want ahead and made all of the accents on the actual body gumpaste. Sour cream pound cake with butter cream icing, and painted mmf. Without a pic of the groom's guitar I was pleased with the reaction and found that it looked just like his. TFL
This is my 3rd wedding cake. It is 12,10,8 & 6 inch round red velvet with crusting cream cheese icing covered in mmf with buttercream dots and satin ribbon. TFL

This was for a party where the main food was a low country boil. I was very happy with how it turned out, and so were the people who bought it. It is 2, 2-layer 8 inch round cakes with buttercream and MMF. all the figures are MMF and the corn had RKT centers. Thanks to every person on CC who has posted a Low Country Boil cake! I made this for my cousin's 21st birthday. The fondant "logo" started drying out. I made the mistake of trying to save time and used the Wilton colored fondant. Not gonna happen again! The good thing was, my cousin loved it! It's 3, 2-layer, 6 inch pound cake with cream cheese icing. TFL
I made this because I had gray fondant left over, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it. Not as elaborate as I would make it for a paying customer, but it gets the point across! My husband took it to work for a cookout they were having, and everyone loved it! TFL

This is a 3-layer six inch box cake that I made for my best friend's birthday. It is my first time attempting a Tiffany Box and a bow. The bow is made of MMF. I had wanted to put "Tiffany & Co." on the box, but had made the bow too big! She was very pleased and very surprised as I had just finished two wedding cakes, so she thought I'd be too busy to make her a cake. But, she's the best friend ever, and I had already made plans to get this one done for her! TFL
