All Chocolate -Romantic Chocoholic Wedding Cake -
While waiting for our Chocolate panel mats to arrive, I decided to test our Crystal Candy lace mats with a chocolate panelling technique and am loving the results. All white chocolate panels and drips, white ganache to cover the cakes and modelling chocolate for the flowers. Chocolate is great because it is sooooo fast!

Princess Skating On Ice Cake
Developed for a class to include a wide array of techniques. Cake for about 20. It was quite a challenge to get her face right and to figure out the armature, as well as finding a way to make her cape look like sheer fabric but yet still edible and have it float! Especially because I am not really a Frozen fan... Let me know if your little fan would approve! They are the best judges. :)

Patchwork Prints Cake Pip Studio/scrapbooking
Patchwork of printed designs and photographs on edible frosting sheets. Small fondant accents such as cameo and bow. Cake was frosted with whipped cream and paper was sprayed with edible sealer. Filling was fresh fruit and pastry cream. Belgian 'biscuit' cake.

Black And White With Easy All Edible Red And Pink Anemones
2 layers banana cake with toffee-banana filling and one with vanilla sponge and raspberry filling covered in buttercream with raspberry. I made this cake for a girlfriend's b-day and because I was dying to use my new b-day present, a cricut cake machine : )), but the black gumpaste was just too sticky. I guess the amount of colouring? Anyways, I didn't have enough time to fool around with it and I ended up just cutting out some fondant by hand and sticking it on. Only problem was that my banana filling started to pooch out on the bottom layer... I love decorating but black on white is a real p.i.t.a! The flowers were soooo easy, I just used candies for the middles.

Flamenco Doll Cake
My second attempt at a doll cake. All of decorations are fondant (I ran out of sugar paste). Took me about 6 hours. I wonder if I will get faster? The collar danglies are fondant pressed through a garlic press. The bottom tier (stand) has a cavity with a vanilla custard-whipped cream filling. The fondant is stuck on with white chocolate ganache.

Princess Barbie Birthday Cake
A sponge cake with fresh raspberry coulis filling and white chocolate ganache to smooth cake for fondant dress. Flowers made in advance as well as trimmings and lace. My first complicated cake, I was so proud, I was bursting my buttons. Made for my niece who had a princess birthday. No one wanted to cut it!
