5inch squares covered in chocolate fondant. Accents are made with fondant/gumpaste mixture. I used food coloring markers to do all the decorations.
This cake was modeled after the child's favorite blanket. The cake is half a ball pan covered in marshmallow fondant. The word "hugs" was hand carved and I free formed the words "I love". The frog head and arms were RKT covered in fondant. I used edible markers to create the face.
I had to carve this since they wanted a bubbled looking heart. I started with 4 stacked 8 in squares. I wasn't happy with the red color I ended up with so I painted it with a mixture of red food coloring and pearl dust. It had a really nice shiny finish that was dry to the touch.

This cake was for a 30th Birthday Party. They wanted zebra stripe on the outside and a Barbie head profile on a pink circle on top of the cake. The zebra stripes were all cut of of fondant. I used a stencil to cut out the Barbie head.
Baby bump cake made with the Wilton ball pan and mini wonder mold pans. The owls are inspired by the nursery decor the mom-to-be picked out. Owls and other decorations are hand-cut fondant.

This was my first attempt at making flowers. The only request for this cake was that the main cake be light pink and I got to choose the accent colors. I love the way that the yellow and orange pop, it really reminds me of spring.
