My daughter's 5th birthday cake. It's a choc chip cake with chocolate ganache. She put the cachous on herself, with the help of my nephew (7) - I think they did a great job!
I'm not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to make my own wedding cake! But, this is what I came up with, between dress fittings and hair appointments, hehe! The chocolate is way too thick and the roses aren't exactly how I wanted them, but it tasted great!

Chocolate cake with dark choc ganache. My version of a planet cake design. Covering and stars are mmf. Overall I was pretty happy with this cake, the ribbons needed to be a bit longer though... I'd love your constructive comments/suggestions!
