Client loved two totally different cakes, so I did a mash-up and made the top tier a barrel cake. GP Eiffel tower and white part of bows, fondant everything else
My inspiration was from RenP's amazing wedding cake shown here: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2273855/romantic-wedding-cake . Wanted a more Spring-y and fun look so I created this version :)

I made this cake for two friends with recent birthdays. One has an unabashed obsession with Twilight :) I styled the book, ribbon, board, and flower for her. The other loves fashion and shoes so the shoe and shoebox I did for her. Everything is edible(gumpaste and fondant) except for the inside of the book :)
My first attempt at a topsy turvy...never watched a tutorial on this but I think it wasn't too bad...had to fill in a gap but the balls cover it pretty well. Banana pile is RKT, the rest is chocolate and vanilla cake.

Modeled after grad's own guitar. Cake is Vanilla Butter with raspberry filling, all fondant except for under-layer of gumpaste on the neck...Hard to see it, though...
Cowgirl themed cake for a spunky little girl :) Colors, prints, and font inspired from invite design. Chocolate fudge cake with PB cup filling on top of butter cake with whipped ganache filling. Purposefully made drier 50/50 to extrude to make it look more like rope. Everything else is entirely fondant.
Vanilla butter cake with Nutella frosting. Second time doing a gift box cake...they are truly a challenge for the perfectionist...

Mermaid Bakery's vanilla butter cake with a strawberry soak and dark choc ganche filling. Strawberry fondant is all the pink and all the decor is unflavored fondant, Gelatin butterfly wings and cookie crum "dirt"
Surprise cake for my [OLD] sister ;) Over the Hill cake (hence the gray and black theme) as a Coach purse...her fave ;) Fudge Brownie cake with dark choc ganache filling, choc fondant (black accents), and regular fondant (gray). Gumpaste zipper and rings.
Made this for a close friend who was having a girl (middle name Violet..hence the violet theme)...all fondant except for royal writing. Fence posts were hand carved and arduous! This cake took forever!! But my friend loved it and so do I :)
