this one is made up of small maderia squares individually wrapped in fondent then staked on top of each other, the corner designs are hand painted using petal dust and vodka, the other decorations are just made of fondant then attached to the sides using water, if i do any small decoration using fondant i tend to brush on water this is just as strong as sugar glue just as long as the decoration isn't too heavy
this one was done for a friends little boy's party all the kids loved it and i gained another couple of orders from doing it
i did this one for friends little girl and the smile on her face was a picture
i invested in a dummy cake and had a practise with my sugar flowers
my partner said he just wanted a bunch of roses to put on top the flowers are made form petal paste
all the flowers are made out of petal paste just did this one for fun
this was my first attempt at a novelty cake done plenty more since though i did it for my daugthers 3rd birthday
