I made this for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday. The bottom layer was a Vanilla Cake w/Strawberry filling, covered with black fondant, silver scrolls (she insisted on silver, diamond dragees; the top layer was a Pumpkin cake with vanilla BC filling covered with blue fondant, quilted, black ribbon with a broach, and crystal diamond belt, topped with a crystal S and my first anemone flowers!
I make these for my business customers. They love it when I call on them for business. BC frosting with RI petunias.

My sister-in-law loves Calla Lilies and wanted them on her birthday cake. The icing is BC. The Calla Lilies and little flowers are made using GP (my first time at working with GP!). The pearls I made with a mold, which was a first for me.

I made this cake as a favor for my sister-in-law. Her daughter's tutor was graduating from college. She wanted a "beachy" cake with a "tropical" look. This was my first 3-tier cake and I was very nervous!!! The flowers and palm trees - RI. The cap, mortar board and tassle - Fondant. The diploma - Gum paste and the piping - BC. I was told that the cake was the hit of the party.
This was my final course 3 cake. Fondant with RI Petunias/Leaves, BC drop strings and Swiss dots. I was very happy with the cake and relieved that the Fondant wasn't a problem!
