I do not remember exactly how many cakes i made for this cake - but it was all Double Chocolate Fudge with double chocolate fudge buttercream icing. It was 4' X 3' cake. This was the biggest cake we have ever made.
The Hat is sitting on a fishbowl 1/2 filled with fondant rocks made up of several colors. The actual hat is made of 6 - 9in rounds stacked and covered in white/red fondant. The tea-cup on top is made of gumpaste and airbrushed in pearl sheen. And of course the goldfish is made of fondant/gumpaste mixutre.
4 - 11x15 and 2 - 9X13 Butter Yellow Cake - Cut and shaped on a shaped board. All of the cake is covered with fondant. The lid is actually made from birch craft wood painted and placed on the cake.
This cake is a 10in round on the bottom, stacked on top is the Dragon ball that opens up to make the Ultra Dragonoid on top.
