Giraffe Theme Baby Shower Cake

This cake was MASSIVE. It is a 14" on the bottom and a double barrel 10" and 8" on top. We guestimated that it weighed about 70 pounds. It's not that tallest cake I have made, but it is the heaviest. Giraffe heads on top based on a drawing that the customer's family member drew. The bottom two tiers are based off of Sharon Wee's giraffe cake.

3D Jeep Wrangler

This was for my son's 6th birthday. It was carved from 2 - 9"x13" cakes and 1 - 8"x8" cake. Tires, fender flares, bumpers, mirrors and hard top are all modeling chocolate. It doesn't show it in the pictures very well, but I also sprayed it with a pearl coat that made it look like metallic paint.

Peacock Cake

This is an 8" round. I used Autumn Carpenter's peacock feather impression mat and instructions from her website for this cake. I changed the colors a little bit, but basically followed her instructions.

4" x 8" Tardis covered in modeling chocolate. The decals are edible images. I used the tutorial from Artisan Cake Company, but used a picture of a Tardis cookie jar as my model.

12", 8", 4" cake with buttercream and Swiss Dots. Flowers are real. The bride had a gluten allergy, so the top tier is gluten free (to save for first anniversary) and the 2 cupcakes in front of the cake are also gluten free for her to enjoy the day of the wedding.

I was sent a picture of a cake originally created by Mama Rhu, Hampshire, UK. I duplicated it without the edible images since my customer did not want any on the cake. This was for a film student graduating from film school.

Ruffle Rose Wedding Cake

The bride sent me a photo of what she wanted and I tried to duplicate it. I'm not sure who made the original cake. The original was white with pink fondant, but she wanted ivory, so that is all I changed. The bottom tier is 6.75" tall, the two middle tiers are 4" and the top is 5". This was my tallest cake to date.

Ivory Square Wedding Cake

This design was a custom design that I created based on the pattern on the bride's dress. It took me 10 hours just to pipe the design. Granted, I'm a slow piper, but it was very tiny details.
