This was my first attempt at decorating cookies. I made rectangle and square legos and then the standard lego head.
This is a buttercream frosted cake with fondant accents. A friend of mine found a similar cake on here and wanted the same thing. This was the first time I ever made characters of any kind.
The family brought me a picture from the pinkcakebox.com and asked me to make the same cake. Theirs was a topsy turvey, which I have never done. so the family was ok with me just doing a reguar three tier. The also wanted buttercream instead of fondant.

My husband got promoted to MSGT or E8 in the USMC. I made this cake for his promotion ceremony. This is the chevron that would go on his dress blues. All buttercream except the guns in the middle are fondant. One of the first times working with Fondant.
This was a cake I made for my neighbor and friend. It was suppose to have a fondant bow on the top but the bow came out UGLY so i went with flowers. I am new to cake decorating and even newer to fondant.

This IPOD cake was inspired by Karenm0712's IPOD cake. This was the first cake I ever did for someone else. (not for money) I am ok with the results... Wish the black did not bleed under the picture....but I think it is ok for my first cake. The girls in the picture did a youtube video and that was a picture from it. I was both of their birthdays and they are best friends.

Third cake I have ever made. My daughter wanted to make a cake so I decided to carve the heart, fill with chocolate ganashe. I wanted to frost it with red frosting but it was taking to much coloring so we did pink instead. I have the whimsicle cake house book and one if the cakes had swirls on it so I gave it a try.
This is the first cake I ever did. This was before the cake decorating class that I am taking now.
