Tinkerbell Teapot Cake

Tinkerbell/Disney Fairies themed birthday cake: Bottom tier is a 9" round cake; Teapot is a 6" round ball cake. Both are covered in fondant with all fondant/gumpaste decorations except for the fairies and hummingbird.

Winter Wonderland Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcakes with ice blue vanilla buttercream frosting. The snowflakes are made of royal icing and the cupcakes were sprinkled with white cake sparkles and sugar pearls.

Golf Themed Birthday Cake

This is a deep dark chocolate 1/2 sheet cake with mocha filling, covered in buttercream. Trees are sugar (ice cream) cones with royal icing piped on, golf bag is fondant with the clubs being made of fondant and toothpicks. The sand trap is brown sugar and the water hazard is piping gel on top of blue fondant.

Black & White Pillow Cake

Chocolate cake with mocha filling covered with fondant. Pillow shape was carved from an 8" square cake. The floral design was done using fondant and sugar pearls for the center of the flowers; the bead trim is royal icing. The ring box is made from RKT and fondant custom made for the engagement ring!

Roasted Turkey Cake

Thanksgiving roasted turkey cake: Vanilla cake w/ chocolate buttercream filling, covered in fondant. The drumsticks and wings are RKT and the "stuffing" is cake scraps mixed with some cinnamon and a little bit of brown petal dust.

Gibson Les Paul Guitar Cake

This is a life-size Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar done as a groom's cake. The body of the cake is red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, covered in fondant. The neck and head are made out of rice krispy treats covered in fondant. The sunburst appearance was created from a combination of painted and dry luster dust in three different colors.

Mario Kart Birthday Cake

This is a 1/2 vanilla sheet cake for a boy turning seven. Mario Kart characters included are Mario, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr., and Yoshi as well as some of the smaller items that go along with the game. All are edible!! Thanks for looking:)

Cornelli Lace Anniversary Cake

This was my first cake using the Cornelli lace technique and I loved how it turned out! The cake itself was a white cake with lemon buttercream and both tiers (8",5" rounds) were covered in vanilla fondant. The daisies and roses are gumpaste/fondant and were two of the flowers incorporated in the couple's original wedding cake. The wedding photo of the couple is an edible image.

White And Blue Mini Cake

This is a mini "post-wedding" cake that the mother of the bride wanted to be at the newlywed's new home when they arrived. It is a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. It is covered in white and blue fondant with the quilting technique on the bottom and some scroll work on the top tier. Since I don't have a hydrangea cutter...I just used a bunch of small flower blossoms and attached them to a fondant-covered piece of RKT.

"sweet Pea" Baby Shower Cake

This is a two-tiered vanilla cake w/ vanilla buttercream. It's covered in white fondant with stripes and polkadots in four different shades of green. The baby in the peapod is made of gumpaste (my first one!!) and the peas in the peapods are green candy-coated chocolate pieces (kinda like Sixlets but bigger). The mom-to-be loved it and it stands as one of my favorites:)

Piano Birthday Cake

This is a 3D piano cake made for the lady that plays the piano at my church. It measured 12"x12"x7". It was vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream, covered in fondant. The bench is RKT with dowels for the legs. This was definitely one of the most challenging cakes I have done!

Tea Party Birthday Cake

This is a double-layer chocolate 1/4 sheet cake covered in buttercream with fondant cut-outs and buttercream decorations to match the party napkins.

Ivory & Gold Anniversary Cake

This is a 6" and 9" round cake, bottom tier: white chocolate cake w/ raspberry buttercream; top tier: raspberry cake w/ white chocolate buttercream. They are covered in vanilla fondant with ivory roses and swags on the bottom and brushed embroidery roses and scrolls on the top.

"viva Italia!"

I made this for our church's "Italian" potluck. It is a vanilla cake with three layers of vanilla buttercream filling in green, white and red, covered in buttercream with a handpainted fondant Italian flag. This was my first time making droplines with icing and I loved how they turned out!

Pastel Cake Pops

This was my first time making cake pops and I just loved how they turned out. These are yellow cake with raspberry jam mixed in, dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with pastel sugars. What a fantastic way to use leftover cake scraps!

Baseball Birthday Cake

Baseball Cake: Vanilla cake w/ vanilla buttercream icing. Baseball field "dirt" is crushed graham crackers and brown sugar, baseball is RKT covered in fondant, and bat and glove are both fondant.

"tangled" Tower Birthday Cake

5th birthday cake for my daughter with the tower from the movie "Tangled" and a plastic Rapunzel figurine. She was thrilled--absolutely loved it! Thanks for looking.

Festive Poinsettia Cupcakes

Dark Chocolate cupcakes with peppermint buttercream icing, sprinkled with white "cake sparkles" and topped with a royal icing poinsettia. These were super easy, but turned out great!
