Candyland themed cake for my daughters' combined birthday party. Inspired by Pinkcakebox cakes. Gumballs are real and so is the lollipop on top. Cake is a 6/9/12.
8 inch Engagement cake. I was given a photo to use as inspiration. I used that photo along with a cake photo by Kitagrl to help me. The ring is a paperweight that I was given to use as the topper. I wrapped the band in siran so that it would not touch the cake.

Made this cake for a fall festival at my daughter's school. It was used as a raffle. Cake is a 6" spice cake with pumpkin spice filling (recipes from CC). YUMMY! Covered in fondant. Apples are RKT covered in fondant. TFL!
We had an enchanted fairy garden party for my daughter's 3rd birthday, so I wanted the design to include flowers and a fairy. I used a Martha Stuart wedding cake for some inspiration. Cake was an 8/6/4 covered in MMF. Not thrilled with the bulging in the fondant, but we had several scorching hot/humid days here in the northeast, and everything I baked was uncooperative. Ah well...the kids didn't notice. My daughter loved it. I made the fairy out of fondant and gumpaste and doctored the candle with some fondant so that it looked like a flower. Thanks for looking. Any advice on the bulging would be greatly appreciated!
School colors are blue and white. 10" round covered in fondant. Graduation cap cake was baked in a soup bowl...top of hat is foam core covered in fondant...tassle is fondant pressed through my garlic press. Scroll is gumpaste.
This is my first castle cake. I made it for a little girl's 4th birthday. 10" square and 6" circle. Turrets are paper towel rolls and icecream cones all wrapped in fondant. Cake is chocolate chip and covered in buttercream. Accents such as flowers, windows, and door are fondant. TFL!
This is a first birthday cake I made for my daughter. We had a carnival party with red and turquoise being the theme colors. Wanted to make a "classier" carnival cake. It's a 12/8/4, with the top tier being her smash cake (that is why it is covered in buttercream while the bottom layers are in MMF).
This was done for a friend who was throwing her 3 yr. old daughter a Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party. She found inspiration from many photos here on CC in order to come up with the final design that she wanted. I'm not terribly happy with the way the pink lays on top of the stripes because you can see the bumps underneath...I would definitely do it differently next time, just by cutting the stripes to meet the edge of the pink. Cakes were 10" and 6" covered in MMF. TFL!
This was my first pregnant belly cake (and only my 4th cake EVER), so I'm pretty proud of how it came out. I made it for a group of wonderful moms in our local MOMS Club who are expecting. Belly is chocolate chip cake and boobs are vanilla cake. Filled with buttercream and covered in fondant. I used the Wilton's soccer ball pan (and an extra 9 inch under it) for the belly, and used two of my handled soup bowls for the boobs. Thanks for looking!!!
