Minnesota Vikings
Made this for a HUGE Vikings fan. I know nothing about football so I did a lot in internet searches for logos etc. and relied on my hubby for some other basics. It was for a 60th birthday, hence the "60 yard line". Helmet was cake as well and the cupcakes were just to add a some extra servings.

Wonderland
My first cake contest entry. The theme was Alice in Wonderland and had to incorporate pink and green as well. I learned one thing about cake contests, Go Big or Go Home"! The cake is an octagonal base with pink and green psychedelic twisted fondant. Each side of the cake depicts a different scene from wonderland. The top is a square with a hole cut in the centre. Alice's feet and dress are sticking out of the hole to depict her fall down the rabbit hole. All figures are gumpaste or fondant. Didn't win any prizes but was a fun experience.

Animal Lover
Made this for a lady who volunteers to help sick or injured wildlife. Each of the critters has some sort of "injury" a bandage, cast, crutch etc. This was my first attemp at a full body human figure. Also my first tree tree and animals, basically a first on everything except cake and fondant.

Green And Brown Wedding Cake
This cake was based a photo the bride sent me of a cake by another CCer JenniferMI. The bride requested I change the pears to flowers but didn't care what kind of flowers. This was my first time making gumpaste flowers so I think they turned out pretty well. I also only had a weeks notice for this cake.

Funny Pirate
Made this for a little boy's 5th birthday, his mom was having a pirate theme party. I decided to add brown sugar "sand" around the outside and a few fondant seashells just to cover the white cake board. I will be adding a 3D hook made from gumpaste as soon as it dries! Thanks to CCer "Hugin" for the inspiration!
