This was my surprise 40th birthday cake (that I caught wind of). I was not feeling the love with this one. It's tough to do a sunset w/ BC! And since I had to make my own cake, I would've liked to do something a little more creative! My 12 yr old told me it was the ugliest cake I've made - thanks kid! :) But we had alot of fun anyway!

Two of two cakes for our priest's retirement. My DS helped design this one. :) It has alot going on. The bottom tier represents our parish, community and the fire dept, the middle his 23 years as an Army Chaplain, and the top is meant to be a priest collar. This event was held on Flag Day and he is also very patriotic, so the red white & blue.
