Thanksgiving Flower
I made this cake for a Thanksgiving potluck. Vanilla cake with caramel filling and almond buttercream. I piped the flower using the petal technique (pipe a dot and flatten it using a spatula. For more photos check out my blog: http://amberscakecreations.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving-cake.html

Vintage Wedding
I made this cake for my friend's daughter's wedding. They wanted a vintage theme and wanted to incorporate her great-grandmother's and his great grandmother's broaches. I did my best to re-create the broaches in white chocolate and poured sugar (first time ever). The fondant has been textured. Thanks for looking!

Simplicity
I made this cake for my friend's son's wedding reception (married in another state and had a reception here for those who could not attend). Definitely the hardest cake I have done yet, just because it is hard to get cakes covered flawlessly! I used a vanilla-almond candy to make a "ganache" to cover the cakes before covering in fondant. Sugar flowers were hand-made and then airbrushed.

Stacked Suitcases
I made this cake for a farewell party for one of our pastors and their family. All the figures and accessories represent someone in their family. The Christmas lights were working; the string was fondant/gumpaste mix, and the lights themselves were dipped in white chocolate and airbrushed to get different colored lights. The sheet of music was hand painted on gum paste. All the stickers were done in color flow.

John Deere Tractor
The tractor is 6 layers high with pudding filling, separated in two places by layers of cake board for ease of serving. Covered with MMF and gumpaste accents. You can't really tell in this photo, but the trailer has hay-bales stacked in the back. This was made for a 3yo's birthday.
