Giant Cupcake

the girl asked for a big cupcake and I delivered although I sincerely doubt this is what she had in mind :) The "cupcake" is 3 round chocolate cakes stacked with chocolate buttercream in between with Yellow Vanilla buttercream piped on top to resemble a regular cuppie. I taped 2 sheets of A4 paper together (taped across widths) then accordian folded to resemble the cupcake paper. I did this twice to make two layers. As I'm only a novice I couldn't really think of a way to get the paper to sit properly so I tied a ribbon around it. It worked! :D

Tin Top Cake

Not my BEST work however it was my first time working with fondant. My only aim was to make it close enough to the model so as the birthday boy (my 3yo son) would be able to tell me what it was supposed to be LOL. Cake is a heavy vanilla with plain buttercream crumb coat topped with fondant. I need more practice lol

Chocolate With Chocolate And Then Some... Chocolate!!

This is a double layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing inbetween. Oreo wafer stick things around the edge and to top it off milk chocolate and white chocolate curls! Made with love for my niece who was a very happy birthday girl indeed!
