Tinkerbell Cake
This is a cake I did for my good friend's little girl. She saw a picture of this cake on this site I believe, but I've been looking everywhere to find it so I can give the original artist credit, but cannot find it. I changed a couple of things, and my friend picked up the characters at Walmart, so it was pretty simple, and I really love how it turned out!

First Time 3D Figures Birthday Cake
So my next door neighbour wanted a cake for her husband and friend and she wanted 3D figures for an incident that happened between them and they always laugh about now. Apparently her husband and friend were shovelling snow when one purposely "shovelled" the friend and he fell on the ground. This is the first time making people 3D figures, and boy did I learn what to do and what not to do! Thanks for looking!

Little Mermaid Ariel Doll Cake With Quilted
This is the first time doing a doll cake, finally bought the pan, and it is sitting on top of a 10inch round. All covered in fondant, quilt design on round cake, with dragees. I made this for my daughter's 5th Princess birthday party. She loved it, and I loved it, though it's not perfect, I did learn a lot! Thanks for looking! :) Oh, and what's really funny is looking on the 2nd page of my pics, you'll see another Ariel cake, that I did RIGHT before I started Cake Decorating courses, ahh the difference a year can make!

Red And White Christmas Tree Cake
I always love red and white together for Christmas designs, and I did these snowflakes for cookies a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to use them together on a cake. I debated on what to do for a topper and I was at Michaels and I saw a foam Christmas tree theme, which I loved the look of the trees, so I bought the set for my kids to play with and I used the trees as outlines for my gumpaste. Then I decorated the trees with royal icing piping and used a candy stick, glued it to the tree with RI, so it would be stable in the cake. Then I dusted the tree with pearl dust. The silver cake board I hated, it reflected so much, so I took a break and went online for ideas. I came across AngelFood4's cake with the RI used to look like snow around the cake and loved it! Thanks for looking! :)

Yo Gabba Gabba Sheet Cake
So I was looking for ideas to make a sheet cake fun and I came across Sharon Zambito's site and fell in love with everything! Anyway, the cut-out image is fondant, and the border design is totally from Sharon Zambito's site. Now I didn't have the fondant cutouts to do the blue trim, so I used blue royal icing as a ruffle instead. I can't wait to get her dvd's! Thanks for looking!

Christmas Cake
First time making this type of bow, so would do things a bit different next time to make it more neat. The piping is royal icing, green icing is buttercream. I made this cake for a Christmas party I went to so I wanted to try something different and new to me. I really had fun with this cake! Puts me in the Christmas spirit! Thanks for looking! :D

Purple And White Birthday Cake
This was a cake done for my next door neighbour, whom I just met the week prior as we both just moved in. Anyway, it was her birthday, she said I can do whatever I wanted, and she mentioned she loved the flowers Plumeria, so that is what is on top of the cake, made from gumpaste/fondant, as is the little flowers along the sides of the cake. Thanks for looking! :)

Petal Cake
Wish I could say this was my idea, but I saw the cake by snowballwinters and totally loved her cake, that I just had to try it for fun. She gave me tips and I love this cake! It's a 6 inch, covered in fondant, petals and flowers are gumpaste/fondant. The petals were softened with the ball tool, dried for 30min in the formers and then used gumpaste glue to adhere them to the cake. Thanks for looking! And thank you snowballwinters for the inspiration! :)

Pear Cookie
First I'd like to thank Antonia74 for her pear cookie inspiring mine, as well I used her royal icing recipe. Thanks Antonia! :) Secondly PumpkinWaffles for this awesome chocolate sugar cookie recipe. Loved it! I bagged them with ribbon as I wanted to see what they looked like all done up, and I love it! Then I went around town today and gave them to my friend's work and my mother's work for free. It went over great! Thanks for looking! :) Oh and the "shadowy" spot is from my camera...

Banana Cake
Banana cake with 3 layers of filling. 2 of the layered fillings are Bavarian cream flavoured with Kaluha, while the 3rd middle filling is chocolate/whip cream. The whole cake is iced with cream-cheese icing with chocolate drizzle on top and toasted coconut for the sides. Love toasting coconut, makes the house smell so good!

Dino Cake - 3D
3D dino cake where I got the directions on the internet. First time doing a 3-D cake. Didn't realize it would take 3 hours just to decorate! Surrounded by toasted coconut. The head got heavy once it was iced, and started falling off, so I improvised with a cupcake and a dowel to hold it up. The picture isn't great because my camera is busted and this was taken with my cell phone. :/

Tropical Themed Cake
So I got the idea from Colliegirl, and wanted to give her a big thanks for that and for her help on how to do the flowers. I did this cake for a friend who is moving away, and we wanted to do something tropical, and because she loves Hawaii so much I wanted to do this cake. First time making these flowers, tricky at first, but once I got a hang of it I love the look of these Frangipanis. Thanks for looking! :)
