I am a big fan of Julia Usher's cookies. I made some springtime cookies inspired by her ideas, but made them with spirulina (blue), spinach powder (green), safflower (yellow) and beetroot powder (pink).

my daughter was bored and wanted to make cupcakes. We decided on making smilies. Nothing fancy but it made us happy. Maybe it makes you smile too... (yellow coloured with natural carthamus extract)

The marzipan roses are coloured with natural foodstuffs. Radish for light pink, beetroot for bright pink and black carrot for purple. I used syrup with natural vanilla extract to flavour the CCs.
Unfortunately, I ran out of chocolate sticks as you may be able to see on the picture. The shop that sells them closed early because of Easter...I took the sticks off and put some white chocolate sprinkles on the side instead, but not before taking a picture, as I like the sticks much better than the sprinkles. I used natural food coloring and organic marzipan for the top. happy easter!

Made these for a winter fair (decorations are marzipan). Unfortunately, it wasn't very busy as people staid in because of the snowfall. Our children didn't mind as they have plenty of cakes to eat now...
