Three layers of Tangerine cake filled and frosted with Chocolate Syrup butter cream. The large leaves are chocolate clay; the fruit is marzipan; the small leaves are gum paste. Inspired by a Colette Peter's cake.
"Box of Chocolates": The box is made of chocolate spone cake covered in chocolate, syrup, butter cream frosting. The box and lid were covered in pink, white chocolate fondant. A layer of dark chocolate candies were placed on the sponge cake to look like the box of chocolates was open. White chocolate fondant forms the drape around the bottom of cake.
