Chinese New Year Cake
I really loved the inspiration board colours so I went with bold red, gold, and teal. I have some fireworks on top, the Chinese zodiac, the horse as my main hand-painted front picture, some gold hand-painted Chinese patterns and a rice cereal dragon wrapped around the bottom of the cake.

Evil Goddess Halloween Cake
This cake was made for a Halloween party and was one of the more structurally challegning cakes I've created! An internal support structure was screwed to a wooden cake board for stability and a dense pound cake was stacked and carved around it. Everything (except the internatl support) was edible.

3D Hand-Sculpted Clown Birthday Cake
3D Sculpted Clown cake for a child`s birthday. Dowels attached to a wooden base support the cake and keep it upright in it`s unusual shape. Everything was hand sculpted and edible expect the balloons as the original gum-paste ones were too heavy for the arm to hold up.

Steampunk Venus De Milo
This is the steampunked version of the famous Venus De Milo statue. She has some added wings and steampunk goggles along with open doors on her stomache to show some inner gears and cogs. Venus is hand sculpted using rice crispies and fondant and stands on top of a 3 tiered crooked stacked cake. I custom built an armature for Venus's body that holds her up and puts very little weight on the actual cake and gives additional stability to the cake structure. The cake was airbrushed and handpainted with various shades of bronze, gold, and silver. I made the wood grains out of fondant that I rolled a pizza cutter across in various squiggles and handpainted with edible paint. A few lace details and mechanical cogs were added to finish off the look.
