This is my version of the "Christmas Eve" cake by Anxeli. This is only the fourth cake I've made with fondant so mine's not quite as good but I'm so happy with the way it turned out. It's a chocolate fruit cake (delicious might I add) and the door and windows are made of gingerbread. Thank you Anxeli for the wonderful idea.....my family love it! Merry Christmas everyone!

Fruit cake covered in MMF for the birth of my new nephew. The animals and baby were made of gumpaste. This was my first time making gumpaste figures. I ran out of time and didn't get to write "Happy Birthday Baby" like I wanted. This cake travelled from the USA, across 5 countries to southern Africa (hence the African theme). What a journey that was! It made it there in one piece thank goodness.
