Breaking Dawn Honeymoon Cake
Every year we have a party for the Twilight Saga movies. This year we did a wedding and the cake was the bed after Bella and Edward's wedding night. It was a spice cake (for the "spicy" scene we were all looking forward to) with rum cream cheese frosting and mmf sheet/quilt/pillows. The "feathers" on the cake were shiny sugar flakes. TFL!

Whooo's Up For Cake?!
These little owls were inspired by a large cake done in a popular parenting magazine. They are more like a cake pop consistency so I could mold them to make the owl shape. I "glued" the heads onto the bodies using chocolate, and then I frosted them with vanilla and chocolate BC. The eyes are 1 side of mini sandwich cookies with peanut butter candies attached to vanilla frosting. The nose and talons are banana candies. The little boy requested red velvet so the insides looked authentic. Boys... :-) TFL!

Littlest Pet Shop Cake
This cake was done for a friend's daughter. It is simple vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting. The house was done by hand with layers of fondant covering RKT. The tree is also fondant covered RKT and a pretzel rod. The fencing was done with strips of melted vanilla candy that I piped into long rectangles then "glued" together with more melted candy. :-) The little girl asked that I use her favorite figurines. TFL!

Little Panda
This was a request for a friend's daughter's birthday. She loves bears so much that her mother bought the Nordic ware cake pan to use over and over. :-) WASC with chocolate ganache filling. Vanilla frosting and chocolate (for the black) on the outside. Fondant rose and peanut butter candy for eyes and toes. TFL! :-)

R2D2, Star Wars, Droid
This little bugger was probably one of the trickiest cakes. He took a pretty long time, but it was totally worth all the effort. My son loved him and that was the goal! :-) He is made of 3 6-inch cakes with a dome on top (cooked in a 6-inch pyrex dish). His legs are made with krispy treats, and the very base is MMF covered styrofoam. TFL!

Little Teddy Shower Cake
This is my version of a gorgeous baby shower cake I saw done by user: Grozdanka (though her cake was much more beautiful). The cake is WASC with a strawberry cream cheese filling. It is covered in cream cheese frosting and homemade fondant. Most detailing is done with piped icing and fondant. The little bear was done in non-toxic clay as a keepsake for the mother-to-be. TFL! :-)

Twilight Eclipse Book Cake
This was done for a Twilight Saga: Eclipse party. The board is covered in white fondant and painted with edible sparkle powder. The book is red velvet with cream cheese frosting and an edible image printed up at a local store. The black book edge is chocolate fondant and the ribbon is fondant as well. It was "opened" to our favorite steamy scene. :-) TFL!

Parent's 47Th Anniversary Cake
My parents just celebrated their 47th anniversary and their permanent move to the beach. So, what better way to celebrate another wonderful chapter than with that beachy theme. :-) Lemon cake with lemon curd filling and MMF. The sand is grahm crackers, and the shells are real. TFL!
