Ideas taken from 2 fantastic cake central subscribers, 'Horrice' and 'Pentolina' This was made for a driving instructors birthday
Copied best I could from the LUFC logo.
I was asked to do this for a good friend as her secret santa present. She loves Tinkerbell and I tried to give it a Christmas feel. I made the presents and bauble she's sat on in fondant. Tinkerbell is a bought figure.
He was meant to look like a dinosaur but I got carried away and he ended up looking like a dragon
The dog bowl has brownie cut into small squares to resemble meat.
I've never been to cake classes and this is my first attempt at sugar modelling. Tinkerbell took me 2 evenings after work to complete. I had a few problems with her wings and I ended up replacing these with rice paper ones (shame)
This was my 2nd cake ever made
I did this for a friend who loves cows for her birthday. Shaped sponge, butter-iced and covered in fondant icing. I put some edible 'diamond dust' glitter on too.
