Specific request was for a LPS cake with a "blue dog" which I couldn't find anywhere, so I used 2 toys and made the blue dog from fondant. She loved her cake, wouldn't let anyone touch the top tier, just looked at for a week!
I was asked to do a cake for a celebration at my son's daycare (20th anniversary party). Here's what I came up with! I had loads of fun dressing the little fondant people like paper dolls-I wanted them to look cartoony so I used a gingerbread cutter for the rough shape, then made them all a little different. Bottom tier choc/choc ganache, middle vanilla/van caramel, top marble. Indydebi's bc, fondant accents.

PB&J sandwich cake for my little boy...butter pecan cake, baked in a square pan, trimmed to look like bread, filled with peanut butter frosting and raspberry jelly.
Cake for a friend's stagette... lemon cake, filled with lemon curd and frosted with lemon buttercream, fondant glass, letters and dots. Worked from a photo, have seen many similar designs on CC.
Birthday cake for TH fan, not coffee flavoured though! First time painting on a cake. Pleased with how it turned out, although my critical eye would have liked it more rounded.

Made this a surprise shower cake, based on similar designs provided by recipient's sister. Cakes were alternating layers of choc and vanilla cake, and choc and vanilla buttercream, done in fondant. Clothes basket was bottom of an ice cream cone, covered in satin Ice choc. fondant. Criss cross ridges from the cone made it look sorta like wicker.
