The bride displayed these cakes on a llarge table at the start of the wedding and later put them on gues'st individual tables,
The venue had a lot of vivid colors and a very modern feel. The cake was designed to fit the environment.
Red velvet and raspberry buttercream and vanilla with mocha buttercream. The cake is iced in SMBC and airbrushed with Gumpaste shells and starfish. Thanks to who ever it was on cake centeral that posted directions on how to make a topsy turvy. It really helpd.!!!
This was a fun buttercream cake to make. The bride brought me a picture I tried to recreate the look. Usually I do my own designs but I fell in low with the look of this one and went ahead. Kudos to who ever was the original designer. Does anyone know?
I was asked to make a cake with a tribal theme. I choose something different influenced by the 14 years living in Australia. I always loved the aboriginal dot paintings and zeroed in on this for my inspiration for my cake. I tiers are offset to give over all flow to the cake. It was decorated after it was stacked. and took a lot of dots!!!

This cake was based on the bride's invitation that had silver and gold leaves on it. the vines and leaves are gum paste.

This cake was inspired by a some winter berries that were part of my christmas centerpiece. The ribbion is real the the berries are half gumpast half fondant frosted in sugar.
I took some molds from some butttons and created my own fanasty flower. It was fun to do. Thanks for looking.
Trying out some new color combinations and designs. Unsure whether I should keep it clean or add more flowers. The greenery is fondant and the the flowers are gum paste.
