Three-Tier Square Wedding Cake With Burgundy Roses
This was my first (and last) wedding cake! It was a 14", 10" and 8" vanilla sponge torted twice each layer with strawberry buttercream filling. The cake was covered in fondant with buttercream piping and about 150 hand-made roses and stephanotis flowers. The flowers took me about a month to make !! I practically gave the cake away for free as I wanted the experience of making a wedding cake and now Ive made one - im done !!!!

Supermario Land Cake
This was a devil's food cake with Bunnywoman's chocolate buttercream filling, torted once only. The decorations are totally fondant with the exception of the clouds which were piped royal icing. Even Mario was solid fondant ! Took ages to make all the bits and bobs but a fun cake to make.

Wilton Princess Castle Cake
This was by far the most time-consuming cake so far but was surprisingly easy to do. Some of the details could be fiddly but im sure if I did this cake again then I would be much faster! All buttercream lemon cake, torted twice each layer. Details, flowers and 'ickle bunny wabbits are fondant (my husband made the duck !) with royal icing piped details on the turrets.

Bumble Bee Cake
10" round lemon cake with Wilton buttercream filling. Coevered in fondant petals and a bee made from wilton mini stand-up bear pan. The bee wouldnt stand up (!) so I had to cut him in half and lay him flat instead. The top of the cake is covered in cake sparkles. The antennae and legs are pipe-cleaners.

Snowman Cake
Cake I made for last Christmas (2009) for the family who were coming to visit. I think the top layer was chocolate mandarin flavor and the bottom was rum? I cant remember! The blue was buttercream and the white was fondant with glitter-gel swirls very hastily applied after I had trouble getting cake sparkes to stick to the sides of the cake. The snowmen pillars are two differing sizes of Wiltons Globe separators on hidden pillars covered in fondant to look like snowmen.

Casino Cake
This was for a lady retiring at age 70. She likes a flutter at the casinos. It was a 10" round simple lemon cake with Bunnywoman's buttercream filling. I only torted the cake once as twice would have mad the cake huge and the poor lady has to eat all this herself! All the decorations were fondant and totally edible (if she wants to). The large Dice on the top was RCT covered in fondant.
