Birthday Cake- Racecar/ Horses

This was the first cake I have ever made looking proffessional not just for a fathers day or mothers day present and I think I did pretty well, the cake looks a little flaky on the inside picures but it really wasnt. I made this cake for my best friend (I am 14, she's 17) her parents have commitments every year on her birthday and I made a cake for her this year because I felt bad. She loved her cake, I made the inside of the cake rainbow/ tie die. I made the inside that way by dividing up the batter into bowls and coloring then dropping by spoonfulls into the pan. She likes both horses and racecars so I incorporated both in the cake, she has a favorite racecar driver at our local racetrack and I hand painted a little car for her and she also likes the movie "cars" so I made the two people racing. I was crushed on time and when I messed up the shape of the top I could not redo it so I just liived with it. If you have any questions about the cake email me ([email protected])
