Coal Mining Cake
I was asked to make a coal mining cake. The cake they asked me to go by had dwarf like miners (sort of like Snow White). I would have perferred to make it with cuter little hard hats and coveralls with reflective markings. Anyway, here's the best I could do! I did enjoy making the coal and intentionally cracking the fondant for effect.

Monster High Cake
This is a cake that I made for a little girl who is crazy about Monster High. I really had no idea what it was, but it is a group of monster girls in high school. It really is a cute cartoon. I had a lot of fun making it. It's WASC cake covered with butter cream then fondant. All accents are fondant.

Purple & Black Birthday Cake
This is a cake that I made for my daughter's 17th birthday. I regret that I was too busy to photograph the cake myself and the only photo I got was from her iphone. It was five tiers with white, chocolate and strawberry cakes with vanilla buttercream and oreo mousse filing in one tier. The cakes were covered with buttercream then fondant. The kids loved it! Most importantly, my daughter loved it and thinks her mom's the best cake baker in the world!

Dinosaur Cake
This was a cake I made for a three year old boy's birthday. It was a dinosaur theme. The cake was WASC bottom tier with strawberry jam filling and indydebi's butter cream. The top tier was chocolate cake with indydebi's butter cream. All was covered in fondant. The dinosaurs on the side of the cake and the leaves were fondant. The dinosaur on top was made of rice krispy treats then covered with royal icing then covered with fondant. I then hand painted the dinosaur and used royal icing for the teeth. This was really fun to make.
