Barnyard First Birthday
Tiered cake to match "Barnyard First Birthday" paper good. I cut out everything except the tree tops by hand. The tree tops are flower cutters. All the animals I designed by looking at the paper goods. I LOVE my chicks and my lettuce! lol The haystack on top is the smash cake (2 cupcakes stacked together).

Hot Pink And Purple Zebra!
Mom's requests...hot pink, purple, zebra on every tier. :-/ Decided to make the middle tier slightly different so it would break it up just a bit. BC icing. Fondant zebra stripes, loops and number. The shine on the topper was by accident and would not recommend spraying non-stick cooking spray near your cake. :-)

Golf Course Construction Deer
This was a very quick, Father's Day cake for my husband, FIL, and BIL. They all enjoy deer and Deere (FIL owns a clearing business); Hubby and BIL are golfers. FIL likes pecans. So, this was trying to kill a bunch of birds with one cake! lol Chocolate cake with German Chocolate Icing on one end (excavator end) and plain chocolate on the other (covered in green fondant). The golf course where we live and the one that they play, has deer roaming around so I was able to bring that "like" into the decor too. I called it my "Golf Course Under Construction" Cake. :-) Fondant "green"; cookie crumbs sand, golf themed decorations from Hobby Lobby's dollhouse miniatures section.

Vintage Look And Color Baby Shower
The paper goods had a very sweet, vintage looking painting of a sleeping baby printed on them. I stressed at how to do this cake and then decided just to pick out the dominate colors and go with a simple, elegant style of cake. The blanket in the picture had a simple ruffle on it so I did ruffles on the cake as well. Colors are light peach, pastel yellow and baby blue. Chocolate with cookies and cream filling.

Snowboarding Over The Hill
Made this cake for a snowboarder friend. Included several "age" related signs. :-) Fondant figure, paper signs, chocolate "30". His favorite color is green and he works for Coca-Cola so I used green writing and added a Coca-Cola sign. I dusted the trees with powdered sugar for "snow" and my "caution fencing" is plastic for needle/yarn crafts.

Floral 80Th Birthday!
"Iris" turned 80 so her daughter-in-law asked me to incorporate iris flowers and the "Queen for a Day" theme in the cake decorations. Since it was on short notice, I only had time for a quick royal icing crown. My first RI crown, first iris flowers (don't look too close- ha!), and my first flowers, flowers, flowers cake. Learned alot but thankful that it turned out well. The border is inspired by a CC'er...can't remember who..from England. Saw a thread on here about it.

For Chocolate Lovers! :-)
A birthday celebration for 2 friends. Their requirements were chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate. They were resting from their diet for one night but I thought that I would be kind and add fruit anyway. ;-) Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, chocolate and white chocolate accents. They said it was divine! Since I'm not THAT into chocolate, I'll just take their word. LOL

Mod Meets Girly! :-)
Aunt, who was hosting and decorating, is a girly, girl....Mom likes more modern and different girly stuff. So, I mixed stripes and polka dots with ruffles and roses! Received the order at the last minute and had a sick baby so things aren't perfect but at least you can get the idea. :-)

Housewarming Cake With Cookies And Cakies (Cake Balls)!
All covered in chocolate buttercream. The bottom tier is a butter cake with a chocolate buttercream filling, sprinkled with M&M's. The top tier is devil's food with a chocolate buttercream filling. Each tier is top with 3 different flavors of cakies (german chocolate, oreo, and peanut butter). The flowers and sign were added when I arrived to the party.
