Polar Express Birthday Party
this was for my son's Polar Express Birthday party. I had never made a bow like this, and it didn't turn out the way I wanted, but it served it's purpose. I wish I would have allowed myself more time, and it would be a little better. We went all out for the party, though, so I didn't get to make it "perfect" It was a hit, though.

God Rocks! Birthday Cake
This was for my son. This cake is the reason I taught myself how to make cakes because he chose a theme that doesn't really exist in the party decorating world. I love everything about this cake, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out (especially since I've only made a few cakes) Fondant with fondant and handpainted accents. Characters are clay so we can use them as Christmas ornaments. The only thing I wish I wouldn't have done was use the Wilton cake decorator icing to outline and write on top. It was not as smooth as my own BC, so it doesn't look as clean. I don't recommend it

Sweet 16
Here's my 2nd cake. I was so excited to try a RI tiara. My first broke, but this one worked out. I LOVED making this cake. The middle tier started sinking, so any advice on that would be great. I'm assuming I should have used the thick plastic dowels rather than the small wooden ones like what I used on the bottom. . .you learn. Enjoy

My First Cake
This is my first official cake! Blue/Brown baby shower cake. Letters were inspired by ChicBaker (thanks for the tips!). Bottom is white cake w/buttercream and top is chocolate w/buttercream (they wanted to stay simple). MMF and Chocolate MMF. letters are MMF and tylose. It's a little unlevel, but I learned in the process. No classes just fun
