My first roasted turkey cake. Red Velvet for the "dark meat" and yellow cake for the "white meat". Filled with white chocolate raspberry buttercream. Covered in Buttercream and sprinkled with "seasoning"
This was almost a disaster cake, but I was able to salvage it, so it did not turn out as I was hoping. This was for my son's 2nd birthday he is is obsessed with firetrucks he loved it and called it his Woowoo cake, so thats what matters :). Everything is MMF fondant and the "asphalt" is Chocolate MMF. Inside is yellow cake with pumpkin buttercream filling.
This was for a family member on her 14th birthday. She loves music and plays a mean clarinet :0) It didn't turn out as good as I was hoping on the outside, but the inside was great. Everything is fondant except for the treble clef on top which was chocolate that I colored black. The inside was Cheesecake flavored cake, three layers torted and filled with strawberry cream cheese frosting. Vanilla butter cream crumb coat. The notes on the bottom are the notes for "Happy Birthday to You".
I made this for an annual Christmas gathering with friends. Fondant decorations and covering. Three layer cake. Vanilla spice, Chocolate, Vanilla spice, with gingerbread buttercream (my latest concoction)
I made this cake for my son's first birthday party. The cake was covered in MMF. The bottom and middle tiers were french vanilla with pumpkin spice buttercream filling. The pumpkin was banana flavored cake (my son LOVES banana) with the same filling. I gave my son the top as his smash cake. He loved it! This was also my first true homemade cake, as was my first try at MMF and making a tiered cake. It was a huge hit!
