Elmo and Cookie Monster birthday cake
I made this for my son's 2nd birthday. I modeled this cake off of SusieLu182's dinosaur cake. It's chocolate chip cake and rice krispie treats covered in fondant. I included a before pic to show how I laid the cake out before I iced it...just in case you are like me and could use detailed examples of how to do this.
Made this with the Wilton giant cupcake pan. The cupcake shell/liner is made from melted candy using the pan as a mold. Got the idea from others on this site. Thanks!
2-tier, 9 inch chocolate cake with cherry filling. All the decorations are made of fondant. The monkey is a fondant-gum paste mix. I was inspired by all the wonderful monkey cakes on this site! Thank you
