Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Birthday Cake

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my nephew, Marcel. He will be 9 tomorrow. He is a big fan of the Wimpy Kid books. This cake is a yellow cake with buttercream. I covered it with marshmallow fondant (got recipe from this website). The book cover is Satin Ice Red Vanilla fondant. Wimpy kid figure is made out of white chocolate, the black details are black fondant. The birthday message is made out of gum paste and the letters were written using edible markers. I am a newbie. Couldn't have done it without this incredible website.
