First time using chocolate ganache under fondant - I am never going back to buttercream!!!!! All embellishments are edible, made from fondant.
The design was inspired by wedding invitation. Cake was chocolate and white with buttercream and ganche filling, tinted pink and brown naturally to coincide with color scheme of wedding.

YUMMY! Valentines Day Topsy Turvy cake. Vanilla cake with chocolate ganache, strawberry cream cheese & chocolate cream cheese ganache fillings. All accents are fondant. Everything was made from scratch. Isn't love awesome?!?!
Basic white cake filled with chocolate grand marnier ganache and then soaked in fangelico. OMG! Covered with pink fondant and royal icing piping. First time using royal icing. First time making a boozy cake - definately not a last for either!
Vanilla cake filled with chocolate cream cheese ganache. Chocolate fondant base and stripes. All made from scratch. No animals were hurt in the making of this cake. :)
I made this for a baby shower. I have never taken a class but am proud of my first "real" cake. It is a lime cake with coconut flavored buttercream - my friend wanted to drink a Bud Light Lime all through her pregnancy so I thought she would appreciate the sentiment. Thanks for looking at my cake!
