I got this idea from cc and it was too perfect to change much about it. I dont have the name of the cc-er I got if from but thank you! It was for my nephew and my sis loved the cake!
This cake was for a sister and brother b-day party. The boy was turning two and requested the grumpy old troll and the bridge. The mom just asked me to make sure there was a bridge on the cake. Well, I decided at 3am that the bridge just looked empty so I had to try to make the troll well this was my first time to attempt to sculpt any type of character... then I added boots and the map and was done by 4 am :) A night in the life of a cake decorator! The cake is decorated in butter cream the mountain in chocolate, Dora and Diego are candles and the other decorations are in fondant. TFL :)
This doll cake was for my niece and it was supposed to have wings but I didn't let them dry long enough so the fondant was too soft I know I should have made them out of gum paste but I was out:( Oh well, she still loves to look at it in pictures my sister told me. So if she was happy so am I:) TFL!
I did this for a friend's little girl's 1st b-day. The top cake is the smash cake so it is decorated in buttercream and the rest is decorated in fondant. The letter on top is a foam letter that I painted and decorated with feathers. Thanks for looking:) (And yes I know my house is a mess in the background but that's what happens when you are trying to decorate a cake with a one and three year old running around the whole time:) )
I did this for my friend's little girls poodle party. Butter cream with a fondant legs, face and bow.
My friend did her baby's room in pink and balck and white so I hand painted the fondant to match the bedding. The roses on top are real roses... yeah I cheated:) Thanks for looking:)
