This is some of the cupcakes I did for my Public Speaking class. It was on how to bake and decorate cupcakes. Since my speech was the last speech on the last day before my colleges Spring Bereak, I made enough for everyone to have one instead of just a couple for demonstration purposes. They were a big hit and I got an A. The cupcakes are Devil's food and Funfetti DH mixes with melted milk chocolate icing poured on top of them and the roses and leaves are vanilla buttercreme. The Devil's food ones have Maraschino cherries in the middle and the Funfetti ones have Hershey Kisses. I tried to incoprerate as many tricks of the trade as possible to demonstrate the many ways of dressing up a cupcake....
This is my cake for the 1st half of Wilton 3. It is regular Wilton fondant and spice cake underneath.
This is the cake from my last class in the Wilton class 1. I still need to get my base frosting worked out to where it's thick enough but I was pleased with how it turned out otherwise..... It is DH Butter recipe cake with Wilton base frosting and decorated with Wiltons class 1 buttercream
