This 12 x 18 monster has chocolate filling, fondant decorations and looked much better in person. :)
Maybe not a typical anniverary cake, but the customer designed this for her grandparent's 55th anniversary, and they own an antique store. 12 x 18 marble with vanilla filling and frosting. GP figures and store, black sugar road.
Mini cupcake flowers! These were for a Valentine's Day order - WASC with vanilla buttercream.
Eighteen WASC cupcakes with don't-try-this-again blue raspberry lemonade BC for a baby shower.
Vanilla WASC with chocolate SMBC filling, white chocolate booties, fondant letters and gumpaste baby. This cake survived one of the top blocks falling off the night before the event and caused more than a few moments of panic, but it was a big hit at the party.
A 12x18 with a 9 x12 on top, pretzel log cabin, gumpaste people, chocolate pebbles, bc everything else. :)
A 12x18 marble cake with a chocolate cake hill, filled and frosted with vanilla BC. Chocolate pebbles, gumpaste figures and grated chocolate path.
This was my first "scene" cake. The bear, fish and trees are from Michael's. The rest is edible. It was a 2-layer 8" carrot cake frosted with BC.
I wanted to try Swiss meringue buttercream and needed something to put it on! These are chocolate cupcakes, baked around a mini peanut butter cup, with peanut butter SMBC. YUM!
This was made for a gentleman celebrating the completion of his model railway. My fondant work is a little iffy and it took HOURS to carve and decorate the train cars but I learned a lot and it was a hit at the party.
This was my first "theme" cake. Vanilla "buns", a chocolate "burger", marshmallow fondant cheese and a lot of fun!
