Art In The Garden

This cake was made for a garden gala. It was almost two feet tall. Upper body was rkt covered in fondant, the rest was vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream. All decorations were made of fondant and gumpaste.

Dracula

Made for my friend's 50th bday. Coffin lid and Dracula are rkt/fondant, the rest is cake is covered in fondant.

Red Dragon

This was made for my friend's son. The head and neck are RKT and the body, arms and tail are cake. All covered in fondant and then airbrushed. Rocks are RKT covered in fondant

Shopping Cake

I made this cake for a client whose friend was an avid shopper. All three are cakes with fondant. The shoe and bag handles are gumpaste.

Train On The Mountain

Middle two layers are cake, top, base and hills are sculpted from rkt. Cake is covered in fondant and airbrushed.

Howloween Party

This cake was done for a fundraiser to subsidize cancer treatments for dogs & cats. The cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream. House was rkt's covered in fondant. All the animals are made of gumpaste.

Castle

Castle is cake, towers and dragon are rkt. All covered in fondant.

Sock Monkey

Cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream. Sock monkey is rkt covered in fondant.

Baseball Stadium

This was a big cake! The cakeboard was almost 2 feet long and 19 inches wide. The stadium is chocolate cake and the scoreboard and backs are rkt. Everything is covered in fondant. I got the lights from the craft store (they are for Christmas villages).

Travellers Birthday Cake

This was made for a retired social studies teacher who loved to travel. Fondant/gumpaste figures. Suitcase was rkt covered in fondant

I whipped this up for the kids on the baseball team I coach. Did cupcakes with little fondant gloves/baseballs but forgot to take pics of them!

Scottish Wedding Cake

Noah's Ark

This cake was for a dessert auction at my church. Chocolate cake with buttercream icing, covered in fondant. Animals and people made with fondant. Water is royal icing. To make the wood, I made four different colours (brown, light brown, cream and black) into ropes, twisted them together, kneaded into a ball and rolled out, then cut into strips and then into individual boards. I covered the cake with a thin layer of fondant so the boards would have something to stick to.

Thomas The Tank Engine

This was for a little guys 3rd birthday. All decorations are fondant.

Spongebob Squarepants

This was my son's 9th bday cake. The pineapple and the Patty Wagon are made out of RKT covered in fondant. The other decorations are fondant or gumpaste.

Gary!

Gary is made from RKT and covered in fondant. All of the other decorations are fondant and gumpaste. This cake was for my son's best friends bday.

Elmo

Elmo is made from rice krispie treats, covered in fondant and royal icing. This was such a fun cake to make!
