Almost everyone tried to open this box to see the cake inside, then to realize this is the cake.. Some of our good friends are moving away so I wanted to make a special cake for them. This is a chocolate cake with fudge icing surrounded by modeling chocolate panels to fit the sides and top. Mini marshmellows make great packing pieces. Edible images for the labels. TFL.
This was a fun cake to make. I could not wait to try the rose swirls on the side of the cake. I love the way it turned out. Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. Bride cakelet is covered in fondant and added silver dragees and red heart sprinkles around. TFL
Birthday cake for my daughter who loves Soccer and my father who loves golf. It's soccer on one side and a golf ball on the other. The soccer side turned out better than the golf side. Wilton ball pan. Almond Pound cake. Covered in Fondant. It is tricky getting those black/white shapes to look right all over. TFL.

Red Velvet Pumpkin cake pops. This is the first time I made them. Took a while to do them but they were cute and enjoyed by all at the party. Thanks for all the tips I found on here.

Strawberry cake with cream cheese icing. Fondant tapits letters, scroll, cap and book. I made the Grad Cap using an upside down jumbo cupcake covered in fondant and made the morterborad from cardborad and covered in fondant. Tassel made with fondant and clay extruder. TFL.
Almond Pound cake, carved to be a golf bag, my 13yr old did the carving. She and I both covered and decorated in fondant.
