Vintage Polaroid Camera Cake
Never a dull moment in the cake biz! I was asked to recreate a Polaroid Land Camera for a photographers birthday. Made it out of Rice Krispie Treats. I made the lens out of homemade sugar glass. Never knew it was so easy to make that stuff! Logo was hand cut with letter templates I made.

Rose Topped Wedding Cake
This wedding cake was created for a very special couple. Not only was it filled with chocolate buttercream but it was also filled with a lot of Love! Gumpaste flowers matched the ribbon. Calla Lilies matched the flowers in the bride's bouquet. The mini wedding cake is gluten free for the bride so she can enjoy the cake cutting ceremony with the groom! I made it to match the main wedding cake.

Kentucky Derby Winner's Cake
I made this cake to celebrate Johnny Velasquez and Animal Kingdom's win at the Kentucky Derby. It was an honor to create this cake for Johnny & his wonderful family! All figures are handsculpted out of fondant/gumpaste mix. That calligraphy course in college has come in handy! LOL

Batman Batmobile Cake
Using Mike's Amazing Cakes Cakenology DVD, I created the Batmobile! The entire car is edible except for the windshield (I cut up a couple of cupcake liner containers and the headlights. My favorite part are those working headlights. Definitely adds a little pizazz to the cake! Bat wings are made of chocolate.

Movie Birthday Cupcakes
These cupcakes were made for a birthday party at a movie theater. The client wanted a movie related cupcake topper so I sculpted these mini popcorn boxes out of fondant and then drew on them with edible markers. The "popcorn" is mini marshmallows painted with gel food coloring and lemon extract. The jumbo cupcake is for the birthday girl. I created the clap board out of gumpaste. It was a good way to incorporate her name and age.

Mad Hatter Topsy Turvy Bridal Shower Cake
My first attempt at a Topsy Turvy cake! Thanks Janellcakes for the tutorial on YouTube! The theme of the bridal shower was Mad Hatter so the cake had to be fun and whimsical. Cake Topper was sculpted out of RKT. Embellishments are fondant/gumpaste mix. Mini hat cake is gluten free for the bride-to-be. 4 mini cake pans stacked gave me the height I needed for the hat.

40Th Anniversary Cake
My friend asked if I can make a cake for her parent's anniversary that combines her father with a golf club and a bicycle and her mother with shopping bags and/or at a garage sale so I decided to place them both at a garage sale. Hey, her father got a great deal on a golf club - 2 bucks!!!! Trunk that Dad is sitting on and the table is RKT. The rest is fondant except for the bicycle. I cheated and used a scrapbook embellishment - it was a very detailed, cool looking bike.
