White chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling. This was made for a special friend who used to be a ballerina and who's favorite drink is a strawberry margarita!! She also loves Twilight so I wanted to incorporate some Bella cake stripes as well. Yes, I made the candle. I couldn't find one like this so I had to make it look like a margarita. TFL
All cupcakes. Chocolate Legos and Lego men. Only the guys holding the candles and pushing out the fondant are real guys because my mold didn't allow me to move their arms. Thanks for the inspiration and tfl! Two names because it's a cake for 2 of my sons who are sharing a party.

Simple cake for book club meeting. White on red was harder than I thought! First time using Satin Ice. Next time I won't roll it so thin. Cake is a triple chocolate with Grand Marnier icing and milk chocolate ganache. Very rich!
Las Vegas cake. The lights were fun! Bottom layer was Grand Marnier and Chocalate with milk chocolate ganache.
I wanted to combine real cupcakes with a diaper cake. I really wanted the new mommy to be able to use the items that made up the display. The bottom layer is about 50 rolled up diapers (jeans by Huggies). Cupcakes are cherry cheesecake flavor, filled with cherries and triple chocolate with mocha buttercream. TFL

Thanks for all of the great sneakers on cc for inspiration. I wish mine was as clean as those! This cake was created for a 50 man who just ran his first 1/2 marathon. His wife wanted to surprise him with a cake. Triple chocolate fudge cake, chocolate chocolate chip buttercream filling, chocolate ganache under MMF. The shoe is chocolate krispie treats with ganache and MMF. The runner is a major chocoholic!
Baseball cupcake cake. All buttercream. The boys loved pulling this cake apart with their hands. Great for kids! Do you know how many stitches a baseball has?

Losts and losts of gum paste masks, butterflies, ribbons, etc. My first try at a topsy turvy. Just two layers to keep it simple.
This remote is to scale. I just photocopied a real Wii remote and blew up the photo copy. That allowed me to cut out the buttons and use the cutouts as templates for gum paste buttons. I also made a little Mii of my son. This was my very first experience with gumpaste. I've come a long way since this little Mii, but this was the start of a new passion.
