2 tier wedding cake...bottom cake is marble with buttercream filling...top tier is styro...started making flowers a month ago...turned out very nice...the bride loved it...she had a country /garden theme...
top tiers are dummies...bottom is a marble...was not to sure when my niece gave a picture for me to make...never have painted before..practice a bit then just went with it...turned out a lot nicer then I thought...will paint again..had a lot of fun with it...
Bride's colors were brown and orange...was not sure how the stripes, dots, and swirls would look good with the artificial topper and berries but it turned out good....

Bride wanted all buttercream with wildrose flowers...made the flowers with the wildrose embosser , colored with with pink petal dust...still have trouble getting the buttercream smooth..any tips??
Her colors were brown and red, she wanted something very simple...used satin ice chocolate dark fondant, first layer is almond sour cream cake with a cream cheese chocolate filling..2nd layer chocolate cake...2nd nd 3rd tier styro, for my second attempt at a fondant cake was very happy with it..the fondant rolled very nicely
Made this for my son and new daughter and law, Went to a couple of classes in the winter in Grande Prairie Alberta(Cakery Cafe} . Learned to make the roses on my own..enjoyed it very much..only problem I had is that when they brought the cake out of the cooler my some of the flowers started to melt...cake top is my in-laws{will be 50 years old this year}
