Cars Themed Cake
Many CCers have inspired this cake. It seems to be a popular style. I did it as well because the design was quick and this cake was last minute. Road signs have been personalized with the name and age of the boy. My favorite part is the pylon lol. 6" and 10", MMF covered. Cars are toys. *FYI carton of eggs left out on table in background is filled with my RI flowers... not eggs lol*

First Fondant Teddy Bear
Just a cake someone asked me to make to welcome a new baby. My first fondant teddy bear. It's 10" choc cake with cookies and cream filling. Iced with buttercream and MMF decorations. This cake was last minute so I didn't really have a plan of how I was going to decorate it. Next time the planning will be better.

My First Wedding Cake
My first wedding cake!! My first cake delivery as well. I impressed myself with how well I did on this. The bride originally wanted cupcakes, but a month before the wedding changed her mind. This is my second tiered cake, but the first didn't have the same amount of pressure on me as it was only for my daughters birthday. Ivory coloured MMF, black ribbon. The cake is all choc cake with choc filling. The MMF covered cake board matched the colours of the bridesmaids dresses. Roses and petals are silk. Rounds are 8 inch, 10 inch, and 12 inch.

Fantasy Flower Anniversary Cake
This cake I made for a friend of mine who's wedding anniversary was the day before her husband was deployed to Afghanistan. She didn't ask for the cake or was even expecting it, but I felt it was the least that could have been done for the two of them. It was an 8 inch round, lemon cake with lemon buttercream. MMF covered and fantasy flower. The flower colour matched the colours of her bridesmaid's dresses.

Daughter's Second Birthday
My daughter is obsessed with Mickey Mouse so I was inspired by many CCer's mickey cakes. It was my first tiered and stacked cake. The second tier was a cake mix I bought and it kind of crumbled under the fondant. I wasn't too impressed, but pressed for time so there weren't many options, but to leave it. The bottom tier is the Hershey's "Perfectly Choc" cake. The Mickey ears was baked from the sports ball pan. Ears were that foam you can buy from craft stores. Rounds were 8 inch and 10 inch. MMF fondant except for the black, that was Wilton. My daughter had already eaten one of the stars from the cake board that spells out her name by the time I took a picture of it lol.

Wilton Course 1
This is my Wilton Course 1 cake. I made it for a friends birthday. It is a 10 inch round chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling, and class buttercream. She loved it. I had to make the buttercream roses and the reverse shell border with my four month old son being fussy. Not an easy task. Not a lot of attention was paid to the roses or border after that lol :(

Wilton Course 4 Fondant
My Wilton Course 4 cake. Marbleized MMF in greens for the cake and marbleized yellows for the cake board. I first made the bright orange fantasy flowers and decided on the colour scheme of the cake from there. I wanted something that would 'pop out'. I was impressed with this cake.
