This is an airport for my grandson's 4th birthday
The castle is an 8 inch cake. To make the towers, I baked cake in soup cans and the pinnacles are ice cream cones dipped in buttercream and covered in pink sugar. (I've tried and tried but can't seem to be able to rotate the first picture. Sorry for the inconvenience.)
This cake was inspired by randel's Abby Paige. The basinette is all fondant and the baby was made with a mould.

The beer stein is made of 4 - 4 inch cakes with two sets of dowel supports. One is for the top two cakes and the other is at the bottom of the beer stein. The foam is cream cheese icing. The beer barrel is a 10 inch cake covered in chocolate fondant. For the wood slats, I measured with a ruler and indented with a pizza wheel and for the wood grain I just cut with a sharp pearing knife. I got my inspiration from U-tube and from my friends on CC.
The basket weave is chocolate buttercream. The bunnies and chick are fondant.
