This is only my third cake, and I'm so happy with the way it came out. It is a Wilton long loaf pan, and a Wilton idea, made with bc and white sponge. Truly was a fun project.
Thanks to the help of many of my new friends on CC, this cake was made for a coworker's sons's 15th b-day. Most of the half pipes I have seen were of fondant; however, my friend wanted the cake in BC. So this was my FIRST real challenge. I have only taken two courses with Wilton, so I was nervous. I hope you like it.
This was a two layer white sponge with buttercream icing and royal icing flowers. My first attempt at royal icing; definitely need more work, and first time at the basketweave pattern. I thought it looked pretty darn good! Thanks for looking!
