Oval cake on bottom with Circle cake on top to represent the 'winners circle' with winning car and oval cake on bottom to represent the race track. I had left over Hershey Kisses Hugs which tied in nicely with the anniversary theme.
I made this cake for a 40-year-old guy birthday. I used a 8" and 9" heart shaped Wilton pans for the shapely figure. Then for the bust I used the Wilton mini doll pan.
This was my first cake after taking a 3 hour cake decorating class through community education. It was so time consuming but very worth it. Six months later after much more practice I made the same cake in half the time.
