This is my first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. I realize I have to bake my cupcake a little longer because I had trouble getting them to sit on the toothpick. I didn't make enough to cover the styrofoam so I had to add some candy. The girl I made it for really loved it. I told her thanks for letting me experiment. Now I know what to do for next time. TFL

A guy I work with wanted a "mudding" cake for his daughter. This is what I came up with (he was supplying the truck). I make a chocolate cake with buttercream and for the mud I made a fudge buttercream. The hill is made from the original cake I made and it fell apart. The dirt is oreos and graham crackers. The trees are ice cream cones and royal iciing. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Three tier cake for my niece's birthday. I also tried to use wires to hold up the stars. It was a lot of work and I STILL need alot of work on working with fondant. TFL
I tried to make a loop bow with curly cues. As you can see this was a disaster. I don't know why they broke and then trying to put them together what a mess.

This was my first attempt at making a "large" sheet cake (12 x 18). I used buttercream icing and gumpaste flowers. (I made two cakes for the occasion, a chocolate and a white.) I do not like working with chocolate cake too many crumbs.
This was what I did for my final cake in Wilton Course IV. I am hoping I can remember everything I learned in all four courses and put them to use. Just need to keep practicing.

I made these after I ran out of icing for my Turkey Cupcakes. I also was trying my striping but that didn't work so well.
Thanks to everyone on CC for their ideas. These were choc. and vanilla cupcakes. I took them to work and they were such a big hit. I received an order for four (4) dozen of them.
