A grooms cake for my ex-husbands wedding :) Sounds odd, but I was honored to make it for him. This is his favorite team. He actually designed it and I turned his design into cake. This cake was one of those cakes where something goes wrong at every corner. So,I ran out of time and feel like I could have made the details better with more time. Also, the red smudges are driving me crazy! The people that seen it in person loved it though and didn't seem to notice too much, thankfully :)
This one was for my daughter's other sister. She loved it so much and really took her time eating the flowers and playing with the Tink candle. It was precious and made me feel so glad inside.

This is my first "Nightmare" cake. The birthday girl loved it and especially was happy with Zero, but I can see how I should have done the hill differently and Im not happy with the picture on the moon. My next one will be much better.
This cake was custom requested by honorary niece turning 4. She wanted a smiley face cake and was very adamant about it, lol. This is what I cam up with and she loved it! The inside was a chocolate vanilla marble with the vanilla dyed pink to match the outside.
This cake was custom ordered by my dear friend for her black tie 30th birthday celebration. She is a cow lover and wanted her cake to portray her elegant side as well be true to her love for cows. She instructed me as where to place the spots, she is the expert after all, and I think it turned out great. She said it was exactly how she pictured it in her mind. Im glad I could make her feel so happy :)

This was a custom cake for a friends 25th 80s themed birthay party.
This is a Spring wedding cake with gumpaste cymbidium orchids, calla lilies, hydrangeas, and stephanotis to match the brides bouquet. This was the first time for me to make each of these flowers and I am so thankful for the life long skills I have now. The best part of this cake though, was that the bride loved it and it was just what she pictured. That makes me happy :)
My fiance challenged me to make a taco for him over a year ago, so when I surprised him with this for Father's Day he was blown away! He had no idea I was making it. He says it's his favorite cake so far :) I'm so happy that I made him so happy. That is what I really love about making cakes, how delighted it makes people feel.

I added the flowers and the birthday girls initial to personalize this cake.
I used scrap booking stickers since the birthday girl is a scrap booker. I think it's a little busy, but the client was very particular about what and where to put on it -and she loves it! So, it worked out good :)
This was my grandpas 80th birthday cake. I used homemade marshmallow fondant for everything :)
