For my friend's baby shower. Everything edible except the ducky on top. one layer was chocolate with cream cheese filling another layer of butter with strawberry filling and the top layer of chocolate and butter bread with cream cheese filling. Mom to be was in awe and loved it!!
My cousin's daughter 18th birthday. All mmf.
All edible minus the ribbon and roses. The tiara was my first attempt by hand. The shoe wa also made by hand and came out pretty good, no mold. MIL loved it and couldn't stop taking pictures.
My dad is a drafter but is always fixing things around the house too. For his 60th birthday, I made this cake of a blueprint with some of the tools he uses. I used one of the blueprints he had made for a garage he was fixing up. I freehand drew the blueprint with royal icing on mmf blueprint. The tools are all mmf and hand painted. BC icing on cake.
This was the reason i took cake decorating courses. I wanted to make my daughter's birthday cake for her 2nd birthday. BC icing on cakes. Royal icing flowers. MMF tree trunk, leaves and large purple flowers on the two side cakes. I was so happy.
MMF for cake icing. Royal icing for greens and weeds. Jelly bean fishes. Color flow for air bubbles. Lollipop dolphin, crab, etc. (the big pieces on the cakes). Brown sugar for sand. Gumpaste seashells. This was my first none instructed cake. It was made for my goddaughters 3rd birthday.
