This was for a sweet 16. They had a snowflake theme with blue and white as their colors. I love the way it came out. I had trouble with the middle tier but coved it up with the diamonds... thank goodness. I had the label say Happy Sweet 16 Katelyn and I used her b-day as the barcode. They said they cried when they saw the cake and it was the hit of the party. I am doing the same cake (only the top 2 layers) next week in new colors. If anyone has an opinion of the colors feel free to share. It is for a bridal shower and she wants it colorful. Thanks for looking.

This is the engagement cake I was working on over Christmas. I really like how it came out. I even liked it before I added the branches but they are both nice I think. I posted both. I am curious what everyone else thinks if u feel like sharing your opinion. I think I over did it a bit with the flowers though. I finally decided not to put a ring box ontop of the cake. I was not sure how it was going to look just placed ontop of the cake but when I got to doing it I was able to work out a solution. I was going to put it in the center of a flower but I think this worked out nice and you can see the ring which is an exact replica of her ring. Thanks for looking

This cake was to have their holiday logo and a few decorations. The event went great and I wish I had made a bigger cake. The 1st event I had way too much cake!!!
This was a cake for Bloomingdales Holiday Best Costomer Event. They wanted their logo with nothing else on the cake. This is what I did. I really wanted to add a flower or bow, but had to hold back.
This was just for practice. I used bc for the string work and when I tried to move it the strings started to fall. I tried to fix them but it got kinda sloppy. I had family coming over to sample so I had to rush. I also split the cake and gave the top away to a dance teacher of my daughters. I added dots before I split it but did not get pictures. She love it. Thanks for looking.
Fun cupcakes for practice. A lot of bc for a cupcake but they look cute. I am going to try in a whipped topping frosting and see if it still pipes as well.

This was a Mother's Day cake.
This was for an 80th birthday. She has a green thumb and loves to garden. The cake is pound with choc chip filling and the top is chocolate black froest. The cupcakes were key lime with cream cheese lime frosting. The persons legs broke during transport. I tried to put her in bubble wrap and will not do that again. She would have been better-off on the cake. I had to use fondant to stick her to the cake and hold her legs on.
This cake was for a confermation and her son was a football player. She wanted a football themed cake with a religous touch. I had a hard time coming up with an idea for this cake. Thanks so much to the forums and one woman inperticular for all you ideas. The woman loved the cake.
Sweet 16 cake with zebra stripes. I ment to wrap a ribbon around the 2nd tier but ran out of time. The 16 is gum paste and so are the stars.
baby and bear 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste. Client asked me to change the bear to a monkey last minute. I liked the bear better, but she wanted a monkey. Thanks to Lorranie for the help.
